HANUKKAH AFTER-THOUGHT

Hanukkah was a few weeks ago but a scripture I just heard reminded me of Hanukkah and I wrote down this after-thought. 

For that thought to make sense, you have know this brief history of Hanukkah. The story of Hannukah is the history of the mighty Maccabees who defeated the Seleucids.

The Seleucid Empire was established by Nicator, a general of Alexander the Great. After Alexander the Great's death in 323 BCE, his generals divided his empire. Nicator became king of the eastern provinces, which included Syria. (Syria is where the Midianites wandered.)

During the Greek Selucide rule, the temple lights were dark and the people practiced Helenistic pagan ways. Israel was in the dark spiritually. 

Fascinatingly, Daniel prophesied the fall of the Median-Persian Empire (represented as a ram) to the Greek Empire (the Seleucid Empire). After the Greeks would come the Romans, which Daniel also prophecied! But there is an important part of history right in-between the Seleucid Greeks and the Roman rule of Israel!

In between the Greeks and the Romans was a time called The Hasmonean Dynasty -- a crucial period in Jewish history.  This is when the story of Hannukah began!  

It was the Jewish Maccabees who threw the Greeks out! They destroyed the Greek idols and rebuilt Israel. The history is recorded in books, 1 and 2, of the Maccabees. It is also documented by Josephus in his works: "The first book of The Wars of the Jews," Antiquities of the Jews.

The Hasmoneans were descendants of the Maccabees, who defeated the Seleucids and rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem. The Hasmoneans were a priestly family who became kings and High Priests of Judea. 

The Hasmonean Dynasty was a united and highly prosperous time in Israel. Israel had tossed off the yoke of it's Greek oppressor. The nation grew and there was much construction! Money also brings corruption!  That came along with two Kings by the name of Herod. 

Now for my "after-thought." To my mind, this period sounds like what is described in Isaiah 9:2-4

The people walking in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned.
You have enlarged the nation
and increased their joy;
they rejoice before you
as people rejoice at the harvest,
as warriors rejoice

...

Historically speaking, after the Greeks did come the Romans. In fact, the Maccabees brought the Romans into the picture by inviting them to make a treaty with Israel.  At that time, Rome was just a Republic, not an Empire. But they were strong enough to help the Jews deter the Greeks, which is precisely why the Maccabees entered into the first foreign contract ever with Rome. 

The Jews were afraid that the Greeks would come back again. The treaty they made with Rome was intended to prevent that from happening. It worked. Of course, things didn't turn out as they planned. Rome brought a new oppressor, Ceasar. An oppressor who grew more powerful. An oppressor with horrible ways of punishment.  Rome is influencing the world still today.

As the expression goes, "Man plans, God laughs."

WOULD YOU RATHER LINCOLN?

President Trump's Presidential Inauguration is just a day away. His speech will be heard around the world. What will he say?  

Before I get into what Trump will say, I must remind what Trump has already said which has already marked the day. "ALL THE HOSTAGES have to be released." Otherwise, "There will be HELL TO PAY!"  (Click to read my my post about "hell to pay.") 

Notice Trump didn't say "a deal was reached" by Inauguration Day. Notice Trump didn't say some partial number of hostages. 

Trump knew that ALL the hostages would NOT be released by Inauguration Day!!  I believe Trump was foreshadowing something much bigger was ahead for his presidency. 

Imagine if Trump sounded like Lincoln on Inauguration Day.  President Lincoln is famous for working scriptures into his public addresses. Imagine if he quoted Matthew 6.9. Who can forget Lincoln's iconic "House Divided" speech.

Will Trump invoke the role of Devine Providence in bringing himself and our Nation to the moment? For openers, I'd like to think Trump will say something akin to Judaism's Shehecheyanu blessing: 

"Blessed are You, L-rd our G‑d, King of the Universe, who has granted us life, sustained us and enabled us to reach this occasion."

Heads would explode if Trump sounded like Abraham Lincoln. Atheists, Satanists and Secularist would not like it, to say the least, if Trump made statements like Lincoln!  

In 1863 Lincoln issued a proclamation. Lincoln began the way the Jesus taught us to pray, by first acknowledging the Power of the Almighty, El Shaddai, over the Government. 

Lincoln said it was the "duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord."

President Lincoln questioned whether the National calamity of the Civil War was a "punishment and chastisement in the world." Lincoln called the people's attention to our sinful nature and he accused the people of our great nation of  forgetting the "gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us."

Furthermore, President Lincoln said that we are guilty of "vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.  Lincoln claimed that we had been "Intoxicated with unbroken success." 

It is hard to look back at photographas of our country in the mid-1800's through Lincoln's eyes. It's hard to appreciate the numbers, wealth and power he perceived in America at that time. Nonetheless, President Lincoln said that as a result of our vanities we had become "too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!"

Lincoln had a prescription for the Nation. That was the purpose of Lincoln's proclamation. He said it "behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness." Lincoln, the President of had a biblical solution; to declare that our Nation set apart (make Holy) a day for National prayer and humiliation (fasting).

Imagine if Trump sounded like Lincoln on Inauguration Day!  

One passionate student of American history has given considerable thought to the parallels between Lincoln and Trump. She is not alone!  In February 2020 I posted a blog article in which I listed the ones I saw.  I called that post "It's Hard to Tell the Differences." 

A year later, on February 22nd 2021, Gretchen Wollart published a book titled "Born To Fight" which explores them. According to Ms. Wollart, Abraham Lincoln and Donald Trump are two of a kind despite terms in office separated by 150-plus years. 

Both encountered a biased press and deeply divisive political environments. 

Each was viewed as an ill-equipped outlier. Their wives, the first ladies, were ostracized by Washington's elite. 

Lincoln was known by those closest to him for his supreme self-confidence, inexhaustible ambition, mean streak, braggadocio, arrogance, vanity, and knack for thriving amid conflict. I could have just described Trump. Both Lincoln and Trump were born to fight!

On Monday we shall hear what Trump has to say. Will there be "hell to pay?" Where is Trump's "civil war" against the "Deep State" going to lead?

I already know this. There is something providential in the moment. Therefore, I believe it is correct to say that we need to pray for our nation.   

"Yitgadal Ve-Yitkadash Shemei Rabbah" -- "Magnified and sanctified be His great name.”

In closing, I want to make an observation and a prediction about Mount Rushmore. Below is a picture of Mount Rushmore Monument.  

First my observation: You'll notice that there is room for one more president to the side of Lincoln. I'm no sculptor, but it seems to me to be best suited for a side-profile rather than a front-profile like all the others.

Now my prediction: 

That is no coincidence. 😉

HELL TO PAY

Are you walking today the Light or falling away?

Trump said that there would be "Hell to pay" if the hostages that Hamas is holding are not released by his inauguration this Monday, which is after the Sabbath.  Interesting timing.

What is also interesting is Trump's choice of words, "Hell to pay."

Yeshua (Jesus) statement, "For the wages of sin is death," reflects teachings in the Tenach. Here are three verses which Yeshua echoes: 

• Genesis 2:17: "But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die," highlighting sin's consequence as death.
• Ezekiel 18:4: "The soul who sins shall die," directly affirming personal responsibility and death as the penalty for sin.
• Proverbs 11:19: "Genuine righteousness leads to life, but the pursuit of evil brings death," emphasizing the moral outcome of sin.

There is "hell to pay" for sin.  I cannot imagine more evil sinners than members of Hamas.  They will have hell to pay. As for us, what shall we do? 

When There is "Hell to Pay," Pray for Peace

Where will our peace come from? The scriptures tell us our peace comes from the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3: "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

There so much death & destruction in the world. From North Carolina to California. From Israel and the Middle East to the Ukraine and Russia. There is persecution and terror in Europe as well. There are people facing a personal hell in our own communities. 

There are people around the world who are facing personal feelings of going through hell. Where can anyone turn for Peace--Shalom?

The Answer Is in the Word

The people Adonia chose to give us the bible, old and the new Testament, the prophets and the line of the Messiah, gave us an answer. The Jewish people have known suffering and have been expecting the Messiah for a very long time. 

Micah 5:2 (NIV) -- "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

The Jewish nation, in Israel and around the world have known tragedy since the time of Jacob, our namesake Israel. From Pharoah to Haman to Antiochus Epiphanes IV, from the Romans and the Crusaders, the Jewish people have been targeted for destruction. England, Spain, Germany and a list of other countries have expelled or tried to eliminate us. Even Adonia was about to destroy us if Moses had not interceded. Where do we turn for Shalom?

Nation's don't grant us peace. People don't grant us Peace. Shalom comes from the Lord. 

For thousands of years, believers and even desperate disbelievers, have turned to a Power above any earthly power to bring us comfort.  

A Prayer for Peace

The Jewish "Kaddish," also known as "The Morner's Prayer," calls on the Lord. The word Kaddish is from the word Kadosh which means Holy. The Morner's Prayer does not mention death. (Think about that!) The Kaddish prayer sanctifies and praises the Lord's Holy name, without actually saying His name.  The Kaddish begins:

Yitgadal Ve-Yitkadash Shemei Rabbah. This is often translated into English as “Magnified and sanctified be His great name.”

Christians, the best way to understand the Kaddish is to compare it to the prayer Yeshua (Jesus) gave his early followers -- The Lord's Prayer. It begins. 

"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 

Both the Kaddish and the Lord's prayer call for the Lord to bring His Kingdom to earth. The Kaddish says:

"May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen."

The Lord's Prayer says:

"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

The Kaddish and the Lord's Prayer are both for peace. The Kaddish says:

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen

The Lord's prayer says:

Give us this day our daily bread.

The manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16) and the prayer for "daily bread" (Matthew 6:11) reflect God's faithful provision, fostering trust and inner peace. 

The Kaddish Joins Jews Together

Through the Kaddish, the personal grief of Jews in a family, a community, a nation and even around the world are spiritually linked together. Similarly, when Christians say the Lord's Prayer they are joined.  We are all One when we praise God's Holyness together.  It is by coming together that we bring down God and recieve His Kingdom.  Till then, the most we can hope for is Shalom Shalom, Perfect Peace. 

The World is filled with evil and there will be "Hell to Pay."  Now is the time to pray. Here are two options:

The Kaddish In English

Glorified and sanctified be God’s great name throughout the world which He has created according to His will.

May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen.

May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity. Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations that are ever spoken in the world; and say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

He who creates peace in His celestial heights, may He create peace for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

The Lord's Prayer:

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil

AMEN

Did Yeshua Inspire the Kaddish? 

The first recorded use of the Christian Lord's Prayer is found in the Gospels of Matthew (6:9-13) and Luke (11:2-4), where Jesus teaches it directly to His disciples. These accounts are believed to have been written between 70-90 CE.

This may surprise some. The earliest readily-identifiable text of Kaddish appears in the siddur of Rav Abram Gaon 860c. Rashi (11th century) and Maimonides (12th century) knew slightly different versions. The Kaddish was not set in Jewish law (halacha) until the 16th century. 

The Lord's Prayer Predates the Kaddish by almost 800 years.

The Lord Warns the People

Ezekiel 3:17 -- "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me."

Moses warned the people multiple times at the end of the Torah in D’varim, the Book of Deuteronomy, about the future the Jewish people would face: 

• Choice Between Life and Death: He sets before them a choice—obedience brings life and blessings, while disobedience leads to death and curses (Deuteronomy 30:15-20).
• The Song of Witness: Moses writes a song (Deuteronomy 32) as a testimony against Israel when they inevitably break the covenant.
• Final Charge: He urges the Children of Israel to take his words seriously. (Deuteronomy 32:45-47)

Look Up!

If you knew the Lord was going to prepare the earth for His Kingdom, how would you get ready? Jewish Sages said, “Repent one day before you die.” And what should you do if you don’t know which day that will be? Repent today.  

It's not too late, until it's too late. God gave the evil people of Nineveh forty day's notice. They didn't wait one day. 

Jonah 3:6-10

When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh:

“By the decree of the king and his nobles:

Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

My Conclusion: 

Trump says "There will be hell to pay!" I think it is more important what we say.

Psalm 50:15: "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you"

If there is one thing the prophet Jonah should teach us, it is this: Do not wait to repent!  Do not cling to our idols, foley and lying vanities. Otherwise, we may foresake our own mercy. Then, the people of Nineveh may stand in judgment of us. 

Isaiah 58:1 -- "Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins."

AMEN, AMEN

42

Psalm 42:1-3 -- As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

 When can I go and meet with God?

Why did Hashem put the number 42 on my heart? Just because one knows something, doesn't mean they understand it.  Such is the case for me with the number 42. Here is what I "know," broken into different but related pieces:

A. The Torah portion Masei (מַסְעֵי‎ Journeys), Numbers 33-35, illustrates the 42 locations that the Children of Israel camped at after the Exodus from Egypt. 

This map illustrates the Israelites Journeys in the Wilderness.  An 11 day trip became 40 years in the desert. No wonder they grumbled at Moses and Aaron. 

The Torah scroll is often written with 42 lines per column, based on the journeys of Israel. 

The word massa (a variation of Masei), derives from the root "NASA," a verb which means to "set out in stages." The Israelites "set out from the wilderness of Tzin by stages"(Exodus 17:1). 

Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. (Exodus 40:36)

The story of the journey long before Moses, with Abraham in Genesis 12:1 -- And the Lord said to Abram, "Go forth from your land ...

B. 6x7 =42 6 is the number of man in relationship to God. 4+2=6. The Mosaic understanding, Man must work 6 days and rest on the 7th as God works 6 days and rested on the 7th.

C. In Kabbalistic tradition, God created the universe using the number 42. In the Talmud, the number 42 is primarily associated with a mystical "42-letter name of God," considered one of the most sacred and powerful divine names in Kabbalah. 

"For on this day he (the High Priest) will provide atonement for you to purify you." (Lev. 16:30). This verse is an assurance for Jews throughout the generations that the Day of Atonement is a day set aside especially for forgiveness and pardon. When the High Priest used to recite his confessional on Yom Kippur, he would recite this verse in his prayer.

D. The Kaddish (Hebrew: קדיש, 'holy' or 'sanctification') prayer. A quote, "the Kaddish is a vigorous declaration of faith. It is one of the most beautiful, deeply-significant and spiritually moving prayers in the Jewish liturgy. It is an ancient Aramaic prose-poem, a litany whose word-music, strong rhythms, stirring sounds, and alternating responses of leader and congregation, cast sheer hypnotic power over the listeners. It has well been noted that the Kaddish is the echo of Job in the prayerbook : "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." It is a call to God from the depths of catastrophe, exalting His name and praising Him, despite the realization that He has just wrenched a human being from life."

The Kaddish is made up of units of four, ten, and twenty-eight, which add up to 42. 

E. The Ana beKo'ach prayer, pictured above, is made up of 42 letters. Ana b’Koach is regarded in the mystical tradition as no less than a portal to the power of creation itself, and to creation’s source.

F. The Gospel of Matthew 1:17 lists 42 generations from Abraham to Jesus. The genealogy is divided into three sets of 14 generations: 

- From Abraham to David

- From David to the deportation to Babylon

- From the deportation to Babylon to Jesus

G. The Gospel of Luke describes 42 generations from David to Christ

- Luke's genealogy differs from Matthew's, with almost no overlap between the two. 

- Luke's genealogy traces Jesus' lineage through David's son Nathan, while Matthew's traces it through David's son Solomon. 

Both Matthew and Luke's genealogies emphasize that Jesus fulfilled God's promise to David that a descendant of his would rule

H. In the Book of Revelation, 42 represents the number of months the Antichrist will rule the world. This 42-month period is a time when the Beast and his offspring, "the seed of the serpent", will oppose Christ and his church.

I will end off at Revelation. Hopefully this post reveals something to you about the number 42. Like I said in the beginning, just because one knows something, doesn't mean they understand it. I cannot say I understand 42. 

Perhaps the meaning of 42 is indirectly expressed in this saying, famously attributed to the American philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson who wrote, "It's not the destination, it's the journey.” 

"Life is a journey, not a destination."

THE SIGN OF JONAH

SUSPEND YOUR ATTITUDES AND BELIEFS ABOUT JESUS AND JUST EXAMINE THE EVIDENCE. 

In the Gospel of Matthew (12: 38-40) and Luke (11:29-32), the scribes and Pharisees say to Jesus, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”  

Jesus, Yeshua's response is emphatic: 

"... no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights."

With those words, Yeshua made a prophetic statement foreshadowing his crucifixion. Yeshua said that "a sign will be given" and that there would be no other sign like it. 

Were these promises fulfilled? Is there "a sign" for anyone who wants to see one? 

The standard theological view is that Jesus was pointing to his forthcoming crucifixion, yet the scribes, Pharisees and even the Apostles saw the crucifixion and they still didn't understand.  Could Jesus have been speaking of the "Linen Clothes" that John and Peter saw when then they got to the tomb?

John 20:4-9 -- Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

What the Apostles John and Peter saw in Jesus's tomb is what is known today as the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo. John and Peter didn't speak of the empty tomb and they hadn't yet seen Jesus. They spoke of the linen clothes lying in their places. 

Technology has brought the Shroud and Sudarium  together for the first time since they were in the tomb. The knowledge we have today has enabled scientists, even atheists, to believe what John and Peter did not understand -- that Jesus had to, and did, rise from the dead. 

The Shroud of Turin, the "alledged" burial linen clothes of Jesus, is an anatomically accurate image of the story in Gospels. Everything is correct and accurate historically. It is literally a picture of the passion and death of the one claimed to be Yeshua Hamashiach. It makes it very real that he was beaten, scourged and crucified. 

A Perfect Sign

The story is all there. There is not a more perfect sign that could possibly have been given for anyone to see that proves the death, burial and ressurection of Jesus.

For thousands of years the world has had to rely on words written by others. Jesus is quoted, but the words were put down by other men. The story on the Shroud is from Jesus directly. The ink is his original blood. The original actual message testifies of the truth of what is written in the New Testament. 

The Evidence of the Miracle is a Miracle

The images are the result of dehydrative acid oxidation of the linen. The blood is human blood. How the images got on the cloth is a mystery. 

Some one-of-a-kind, inimitable, defying imitation, matchless, unrepeatable, irreplicable, unfathomable form of molecular transport method has transfered the images of the scourged, crucified man to the linen.

There are thousands upon thousands of pieces of funerary linen going back to millennia before Christ, and another huge number of linens of Coptic Christian burials. NOT A SINGLE ONE bears an image remotely like the Shroud of Turin. 

The Shroud bears the images of a man who has had violent damage done to his body, yet whose face is filled with serenity and peace. Even the image of Jesus on the Shroud corresponds to the widely imagined one the world has composed of Jesus without any written description of his appearance. 

The Only Conclusion that Makes Sense

The Shroud is an extraordinary witness to the torture, death and resurrection.  In my opinion, the Shroud is the personal testimony of Yeshua, written through his own personal experience with his own body. I call it his "love letter." 

In my opinion the Shroud is the sign that Yeshua proclaimed he would give.

Most Of Us Are Jonah

Hashem, Adonai, calls every one of us. Jonah shows us that it is hard to accept, let alone even to understand God's plans. His will be done.

The Lord wants all us to abide by Him, to be obedient and to forgive and love one another, especially those who "do not know the Word." Yet, most of us flee from serving God. Most of us worship idols and listen to our flesh. Most of us are decieved. 

Jonah is a sign and the Shroud is evidence of the love Father God has for us.

This poem was inspired by thoughts regarding String Theory (physics). I wrote another poem about trees 5 years ago that was inspired by friends moving to Florida. I was wondering whether to stay here and somehow that turned into a poem called "Like An Old Tree."

THE "GOD PARTICLE"

Higgs Boson (A.K.A. "god particle")

A physicist said their is only one important philosophical question:

"What is it like to live a finite fragile life in an infinite eternal universe?"

The actual reason for the name "the god particle" is very ironic. It may surprise you, because it is most likely NOT what you think. Higgs Boson is God Particle. But Why?

Recently I listened to a couple of interviews with physicists. I found them fascinating. They are Michael Greene and Brian Green (Not related.) They were speaking about a subject that I have heard of, but never looked into, called "String Theory." Here is a link to a purely scientific explanation of "String Theory" by Brian Greene.

Michael Greene (born May 1946) is a renowned Physics Professor in England who is a pioneer of string theory. He is emeritus professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and a Fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge. He was Lucasian Professor of Mathematics from 2009 to 2015. The first "Lucasian Professor" who specialized in Physics was Isaac Newton from 1643 to 1727.

Brian Green (born February 1963) is an American physicist known for his research on string theory. He is a professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University and the chairman of the World Science Festival, which he co-founded in 2008.

String Theory

String theory aims to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity, potentially providing a "theory of everything." It incorporates all fundamental forces—gravity, electromagnetism, strong, and weak forces—into a single framework.

String Theory is a model of particle physics that is strongly linked to "the Higgs Boson," also known as the "god particle."  

String theory and the concept of God intersect in philosophical and theological discussions, though they operate in different domains.

String Theory describes how "strings" propagate through space and interact with each other. Strings appear as particles, with their properties determined by the string's vibrational state. 

These "Stringss are also inside of us. They are "sub-atomic."

There is no hotter topic in physics than Higgs Boson ("the god particle") and the Higgs Field." Scientists have used the CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in an attempt to find the Higgs boson.

String's properties are determined by their vibrational state. Vibration is Frequency! In string theory, the concept is that different vibration frequencies of tiny strings would correspond to different particles, including light, meaning that light is essentially a specific vibrational mode of these strings; so, in a sense, you could say that the vibration frequency of a string in string theory can represent light depending on its specific vibrational pattern.

The frequency, the vibration of light corresponds to it's color.

A "Radical" Theory

If the frequency of a String inside a Quark interacts with other Strings throughout the Universe, the implications are incredible. It is fantastic to me that simple "observation" can alter "reality" or "relationship" between something in one place and something in another place a vast distance apart. I am referring to Quatum physics and principles called the "Observer Effect" and "Quantum Entanglement."

I am intrigued about "Light" for multiple reasons, most significantly because of the biblical connections between Light and Adonai. If there is every going to be a "scientific proof" of God, I believe it will largely incorporate established theories in physics and be highly related to the mathematics/physics of light.

I have "a thing" for trees. The interaction of strings in string theory and the communication of trees in a forest through fungal networks can be loosely likened as both involve intricate, interconnected systems that influence their environments:

String Interactions: Strings interact by splitting, joining, or vibrating in ways that determine particle properties and interactions. These processes are governed by the topology of their "worldsheet" and represent the fundamental building blocks of the universe.

Tree Communication: Trees communicate via underground mycorrhizal networks, sharing nutrients, water, and signals about threats like pests or drought. This "wood-wide web" fosters cooperation and resilience within ecosystems.

Both systems emphasize interconnectedness—strings at a quantum scale and trees at an ecological scale—highlighting how individual components contribute to a larger, unified structure.

Conclusion:

I don't have a "conclusion," per say. I simply have an interest in String Theory as a topic that stimulates my mind and imagination. I think String Theory may someday provide the scientific proof of God that some folks need. As for me, I see the Glory of God in the everyday things.
