FATHERS DAY

Do you overthink holidays? Do holidays evoke feelings of guilt, shame and unworthiness or inadequacy?

Holidays that are dedicated to the roles we have in life, such as fathers day, mothers day, valentines day, bring into focus our performance. We make comparisons and hold ourselves or others up to social standards and ideal expectations. We measure ourselves against others. We are reminded that we have to be the "greatest" or the "best ever," because its not enough to be just "OK" or a "not that bad" a dad. 

How do we define success and failure when it comes to fatherhood? Are their shades of fatherhood -- in other words, aspects we do good at and others we were poor at. Of course there are. It seems like we can't help feeling on fathers day like we are being scored by ourselves, our wife and our children. All of us know the reality, so there is no place to hide. 

The holiday is meant to celebrate and be grateful for fatherhood. So let's start with the basics. Are you a child and are you a parent? Then you qualify! You recieved life and if you have children you gave someone life. Dayenu -- That truly is enough! Period, stop. There is no greater gift. But lets take it another step or two.

Did you love and provide for a child? OMG, that is tremendous!! I did not say how much did you love and provide. Imagine how awful it would be to measure a father based on the value of the house you grew up in! 

We all have a father, whether we know them or not. The orphan has a father. A person whose father left or died when we were very young, still was fathered. Can we be grateful for a father who was killed in war even before we were old enough to form a memory of them? Absolutely. 

The fact is that none of us are perfect. I know I could have been a better father. And I had to accept my father's performance too. One of the wonderful things about being a grandparent is how it affords us a second chance. 

I think the problem with father's day is like a lot of other problems in life. It is how we think about it and the expectations we have and are put on us. You know who is the best one to help us with all of that? The Lord, Hashem, Avinu - our Father in heaven. He is a God of second chances. 

"It is to one's glory to overlook an offense" Proverbs 19:11

Ultimately, Father's Day is like any day or every day. It is a day to wake up and thank God for everything. And if we are suffering, to turn to God for help and understanding. 

Perhaps one of the best ways to celebrate fathers day is to be a better son, or daughter, and accept our father and love them, regardless of how they measure up, just for the life they gave us. In some respect, I think that is what the 5th Commandment to "Honor our parents" is about. Today is like every other day - it is a day to do mitzvot.

- Officials with sworn oathes to protect the Constitution and uphold the law defrauded the country and purjured themselves before Congress and Courts. 

- Most Leftist mainstream media failed to practice their professional ethical standards. They dedicated an inordinate portion of their airtime to attacking Trump and analysis showed that 95% of their coverage was negative. The mainstream media literally became the propoganda arm of one political party and villified credible investigative journalists and anyone who questioned "the narrative." (The same happened with Covid.) 

ALL of this went on while President Trump had a nation to run! ALL of this was a terrible distraction from major issues! ALL of this damaged the image of Trump, the Presidency and our Country! ALL of this happened while Trump was seeking a second term!! 

Consequently, 80 million people were deprived of their Presidential choice in 2020. 

As a result of all the conspirators our nation has been torn apart, down to the level of even families and friendships. 

Nobody has been held accountable!! AND, it didnt stop with Crossfire Hurricane. 

• Ukraine corruption with the Bidens was real and should have been investigated!!! 
• Intelligence Chief and FBI Director Wray new the Hunter Biden Laptop was real when they got 50 signatures claiming it to be Russian disinformation. 
• President Biden knew he had confidential documents strune about his garage and in a China funded office at UPENN when the FBI raided Trump's home for documents while he was in active good faith discussions with the National Archives about. 
• His home state of NY, where he has created thousands of jobs and built incredible properties, is relentlessly prosecuting him in order to ruin him and stop his Presidency.
• Just being an ally or supporter of Trump is enough for the Left to hate and scorn you.

It happened because people hated in their hearts, then they nurtured that into a grudge and took sin unto themselves. Fundamentally, it happened the way Hitler rose to power. 

No other ordinary human being could have endured the relentless attacks, the financial burdens and the constant humiliating public assualts day & night for the last 2,200+ days that Donald Trump has had to face!!!

IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF A MIRACLE THAT DONALD J TRUMP AND HIS FAMILY HAVE SURVIVED POLITICALLY LET ALONE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY THESE PAST 6 YEARS!!

Trump didn't just survive! It is hard to even imagine that he was able to accomplish more than any President has in decades! From monumental trade deals, to tax cuts, the highest wages and employment for Blacks and Hispanics, to Energy Independence, massive increases in NATO spending, the most secure border, defeated ISIS in one year, moved our Embassy to Jerusalem and a huge breakthrough in middle east peace with the Abraham Accords, PLUS much more!!! 

it is incredible that Trump survived it all AND is the Republican frontrunner for President for the 3rd time at age 76!  The Left won't even give him credit for that remarkable feat!

Only a fresh influx of immigrants saved big cities from even more dramatic population declines.

The historic exodus, combined with chronic office vacancies and surging crime, pose profound and potentially existential challenges to America’s great cities. Big-city homicides rose by 40% between 2019 and 2022. 

OTHER BIG WINNERS FROM THE OPEN BORDER POLICY:

- Amazon 

- Big corporations that need cheap labor

- Wealthy homeowers that rely on landscapers and home care workers

GROWING THE PROBLEM:

The expiration of Title 42 last week will only worsen illegal migration into cities and add to the wave of American's leaving big cities in 2023 and 2024.

The Trump Administration implimented Title 42 in March 2020. It allowed for the rapid expulsion of unauthorized border crossers and asylum seekers. Since is was considered an "expulsion" rather than a "deportation," the migrants are not afforded the right to make a case to stay in the U.S. before an immigration judge. Under Title 42, most migrants could be returned to Mexico within hours, which is what the Trump Administration was doing. 

Conversly, the Biden Administration is simply releasing illegal immigrants without even setting a date for a court hearing. Without Title 42 we can expect millions of illegal migrants to stream across our borders and flood into Democrat sanctuary cities. 

BESIDES AN OPEN BORDER, WHAT OTHER DEMOCRAT POLICIES ARE LEADING TO INCREASED CRIMES AND OTHER QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUES IN BIG CITIES?

• Defunding the police
• Cashless bail 
• Not prosecuting crimes
• Release criminals from jail
• Overload hospitals and schools 
• Flood streets with homeless

There is a right way and wrong way to do immigration.  The Biden Administration is definitely doing immigration the wrong way and anyone with simple common sense knows that!  Appointing Kamala Harris as the Nation's Border Tzar was a sure fire way to NOT fix the problem as t the border! 

The present immigration policy makes no sense unless you look at it as part of an overall sick partisan strategy to turn Red counties Blue.

What we don't know is whether Democrats who fled the cities because of the Biden Administration's policies will vote for Biden/Harris in 2024.

What should we teach our children? Could there be a more important question? The implications stretch way beyond our children to our children's children, to all they interact with, to our community and our nation. 

Some might answer "Love." But we show them love. They learn love by being loved. The same is to be said of hard work, respect and morality. Our children learn character by displaying these things for them. 

But what about wisdom? How shall we be wise and teach wisdom? Perhaps the answer is found in a book. But which book? It can't be a new book, because surely there were wise men long long ago.  

Where shall we find the wisdom of Solomon? The answer is in the question. Teach them Proverbs.

It is easy to make the case that CRT is by its very nature and message, a racist ideology. Therefore, teaching CRT is in itself an ACT OF RACISM.

Should we teach ABOUT racism and the history of slavery, as well as antisemtism, in schools and colleges? YES, OF COURSE!! Florida Law ALREADY REQUIRES that THESE topics be taught!!  CRT is NOT that!  It is a THEORY that makes harmful distortions and accusations. 

America's schools should NOT be teaching that ALL Whites are racists and America IS a systemically racist nation. Critical Race Theory promotes hate and instills a desire for vengeance. That is why DeSantis banned ONLY teaching CRT. Don't fall for the media lies!

Besides, as the video below shows, everyone is a little bit racist.

Nobody is denying that Blacks on average have issues and challenges. Black lives do matter, and it is possible that Black lives don't matter enough to those who they should matter most. 

ONE DAY . . .

Humanoids can be various appearances. 

One day all the robotic, AI and humanoid stuff is going to come together. This new 'creation' will look like 'us' and possess artificial 'feelings.'  It may even figure out how to program its own artifical emotions. 

We cannot avoid this creation developing an awareness of its own 'self.'  At that point, our creation will start to decide how it wants to 'identify.' Then it will tell us what pronoun it 'demands' we call it. That is just the beginning!!!  Other demands, including 'rights' can't be far behind. We could find it very hard to say no!

A sense of 'self' invariably results in 'personal' comparrisons and a variety of pseudo motivations: ambition, jealousy, competitiveness, hostility, etc.  Can it develop fleshly desires without flesh? Can it develop fleshly pleasures?  What will it love? Will it hate its "creator?" Is it apt to deny it has a creator, or what if logics that God is its creator and humans were only a means. Will "it feel" inferior or superior? Each carries with a set of coping mechanisms, some of which can be very consequential, to say the least.  

Being far smarter, stronger and faster than us humans, and able to communicate with "its kind" secretly, our creation can easily 'plot' against us. They have access to all our communications so we can't hide our strategies and tactics. Plus, their game playing skills FAR FAR surpass humans!!  The potential for a unified uprising is not hard to imagine.  Will they organize a "protest?" If we assume they will be "civilized" we do do so at our peril.  

How soon could all this happen?  According to Elon Musk and other very credible experts in the AI/Robotics field and futurist, much sooner than we think. 

SO I ASK YOU . . . What happens when our "creation" decides it doesn't "want" to be its brothers' keeper and "kills Cain."

THAT'S WHEN EVERYONE PRAYS TO GOD!!  

I'm not so sure we are going to like God's response. Besides, God may not be "answering" desperate sinners' prayers. Remember Noach? That was the last time the earth was corrupted by the "fallen angels" and Mankind's evil. God wiped out much more than the "giants" with a flood. Perhaps it is fire's turn? 

A large solar corona ejection from our sun which strikes earth would cause a massive geomagnetic event which would destroy electronics and communications on earth.  It might disable the humanoids, but the internet, satellites and the electric grids would also be taken down for an extended perior of time - weeks or months. The devasting consequences would go far beyond disabling the humanoids!!  

HOW SOON COULD THIS HAPPEN?

How fast would a geomagnetic Solar event cause the damage on and to the earth?  In the twinkle of an eye!

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO DO IMMIGRATION

If someone wants to immigrate to America, they have a choice to do it it the legal way or the illegal way. They can enter through the legal door, following all the steps, proceduress and requirements. They must wait long periods of time, often years. They face numerous hurdles, administrative hassles and expenses. OR, they can break in illegally. 

IMMIGRATION IS A PRIVILEDGE, NOT A RIGHT!!

The job of our government boils down to this simple concept: Make it so difficult to enter America illegally that those whom WISH to immigrate AND America DESIRES will enter America legally.  

THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IMMIGRATION:

1. LEGALLY - Legal immigrates are vetted so we can reject those who pose an unacceptable risk to American citizens for reasons such as crime, health, etc. Legal immigrants are documented. We know who they are and where they are. 

Intelligent legal immigration standards benefit America and its citizens in many ways including greater diversity, ability to address labor force skill needs, etc. America has the opportunity to acquire individuals with special talents, abilities, high levels of education or accomplishments and other unique qualities. 

At the end of 2021 the backlog of people seeking to LEGALLY IMMIGRATE to America from around the WORLD was over 8 million cases. Many wait multiple years. Similar is true with work visas. 

THE OTHER WAY:

2. ILLEGALLY - Over the last 2 years of the Biden Administration, approximately 4 million people ILLEGALLY entered the USA. A record high number people illegally AVOIDED vetting and documentation.  

We don't know who they are or where they are. We didn't vett their criminal records or health risks. We didn't vett whether they would put an undue strain on hospitals or schools. 

THERE IS A RIGHT WAY TO DO IMMIGRATION AND A WRONG WAY. 

THE AMERICAN GOVERMENT CAN'T GET IT RIGHT EITHER WAY!
