MESSIANIC OBSERVATIONS

There seems to be a broad sense than we are living in unique times. I'm not a messenger of end-times -- These are just observations.

The bible is specific about the sorts of things that will be happening in such times.  Decide for yourself: -- Do you see parallels to ALL of these things:

✔️ "Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.”

✔️ Widespread natural disasters, storms, famine and pestilence...Evidently the bible forsaw climate change.

✔️ Wars and rumors of wars..."Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. Evidently the bible forsaw that too.

✔️ Tremendous deception!

✔️ People will "call good evil and evil good."

✔️ "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers."

✔️ “increasing of lawlessness.”

✔️ The "love for God would grow cold" in most people.

✔️ People will be "lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.”

Many of these signs could apply to various periods in history. However, what makes our current era unique is the collective, unprecedented scale and intensity of these phenomena, particularly in light of technological advancements and global interconnectedness.

Unique aspects of our current era:

  1. Unprecedented knowledge explosion: The internet and digital technologies have led to an exponential increase in accessible information, fulfilling the prophecy of knowledge becoming abundant.

  2. Global awareness: Modern communication allows us to witness events worldwide in real-time, making us more aware of disasters, conflicts, and societal changes on a global scale.

  3. Climate change impact: The effects of climate change are more pronounced and widely recognized than ever before, leading to increased frequency and severity of natural disasters.

  4. Technological moral dilemmas: Advanced technologies like AI and genetic engineering present new ethical challenges, potentially exacerbating the "calling good evil and evil good" phenomenon.

  5. Digital narcissism: Social media and online platforms have amplified self-promotion and individualism, aligning with the prophecy of men being "lovers of their own selves".

  6. Global interconnectedness: The world is more interconnected than ever, making it possible for events to have far-reaching consequences and for information (both true and false) to spread rapidly.

  7. Potential for global-scale events: Modern technology and weapons systems create the possibility for events that could affect the entire world simultaneously, echoing the scale of the biblical Flood.

These factors combined create a unique context in which biblical prophecies seem to be converging and intensifying in ways not seen before, potentially signaling the approach of the "time of the end" mentioned in Daniel chapter 12.

You might say this could be any period in history. I would tend to agree. What makes it different today? I'll tell you...

ISRAEL IS KEY!

Israel plays a central role in the bible. While "end-times" is worldwide, Israel is central in end-times prophecy, serving as a witness to God’s sovereignty and fulfilling ancient biblical promises.  These things need to happen  regarding Israel before the Messiah comes/returns:

The modern state of Israel, established in 1948, is seen as a fulfillment of prophecies about the regathering of the Jewish people to their land. (Ezekiel 36:24).

In addition to the restoration of Israel as a nation in 1948 and the reclamation of Jerusalem in 1967, there are several key developments in Israel that align with biblical prophecy and signal the unfolding of end-times events:

  • Spiritual Awakening: A growing remnant of Jews in Israel are recognizing Jesus as their Messiah, fulfilling prophecies of spiritual revival (Isaiah 10:20, Romans 11:5).
  • Agricultural Revival: The deserts of Israel are blooming, and the nation is exporting fruit, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy of the land flourishing (Isaiah 27:6).
  • Political and Religious Tensions: Increased hostility toward Israel and ongoing conflicts in the region align with prophecies of nations rising against Israel (Zechariah 12:2-3).
  • Israel will face attacks from surrounding nations, but God will supernaturally defend and deliver them (Ezekiel 38, Zechariah 12).

These developments, alongside Israel’s continued existence and growth, underscore its pivotal role in biblical prophecy and the approaching fulfillment of end-times events.

You can draw you own conclusions concerning events described above. But there are two future events that will be unmistakable!

The first event is the ritual killing of the Red Heifer. This is a significant element in biblical prophecy, particularly in Jewish and Christian eschatology which hasn't happened in over 2000 years. It is only recently that such specimens have even been located.

The Red Heifer ritual is detailed in Numbers 19bn̈. A red heifer without defect or blemish was sacrificed outside the camp, and its ashes were used to purify those who had come into contact with a dead body.  This requirement applies to much of Israel's people and land today!

Killing of the 10th red heifer, as would be the case, is linked to the Messiah’s arrival and the rebuilding of the Third Temple from both a Jewish and Christian perspective.  Hamas's  attack of Israel on October 7th 2023 was motivated by Muslims' fears that Israel was going to slaughter the red heifer!

Recent reports of red heifers being brought to Israel have sparked interest, as they are seen as a potential step toward fulfilling end-times prophecies, including the construction of the Third Temple

An essential component -- The Third Temple.

Discussions and preparations for a Third Temple in Jerusalem are significant, as its construction is a key end-times event.

Once the temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem during the "Tribulation," a period of time referred to as "Jacob’s Troubles" in the Book of Daniel, Jews both suffer greatly and have role to play. 144,000 Jews are foretold to serve as evangelists during the end-times that unfold once the 3rd Temple is built.

What's to come after the temple is built in the final days, is not unlike the time of the plagues against Pharaoh in Egypt. It is described in the Book of Revelation, but I'll warn you. You may not want know.  On the other hand, fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

Conclusion

Once the third Temple is built, it is already very late.

"They took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be."
