THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME

Psalm 80:17-19 -- Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

The phrase "למען שמו" (lema’an shemo) appears multiple times in the Hebrew Bible, often translated as "for His name's sake" or "for the sake of His name." It signifies actions or interventions by God that are motivated by the desire to uphold or glorify His name, emphasizing His character, reputation, and sovereignty.

Psalm 23:3 - "He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

Psalm 106:8 - "Yet he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make known his mighty power."

Psalm 109:21 - "But you, O God my Lord, deal on my behalf for your name's sake; because your steadfast love is good, deliver me!"

Psalm 143:11 - "For your name's sake, O Lord, preserve my life! In your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble!"

Isaiah 48:9 - "For my name's sake I defer my anger, for the sake of my praise I restrain it for you, that I may not cut you off."

Jeremiah 14:7 - "Though our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your name's sake; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you."

Jeremiah 14:21 - "Do not spurn us, for your name's sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne; remember and do not break your covenant with us."

Ezekiel 20:9 - "But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt."

Ezekiel 20:14 - "But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out."

Ezekiel 20:22 - "But I withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out."

Ezekiel 20:44 - "And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I deal with you for my name's sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares the Lord God."

Ezekiel 36:22 - "Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came."

These verses emphasize that God acts "for His name's sake" to uphold His holiness, glory, and reputation, often in the face of human sin or unfaithfulness.

SO POWERFUL IS HIS NAME THAT GOD GAVE US A COMMANDMENT CONCERNING HIS NAME!

"You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain" (Exodus 20:7)

The 3rd commandment warns against using God’s name in vain, which includes irreverent, deceitful, or hypocritical speech or actions that dishonor His name. The verse emphasizes that God "will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name."

The principle of the 3rd Commandment is rooted in the holiness and reverence of God’s name.

The Hebrew phrase "לא תשא את־שם־יהוה אלהיך לשוא" (lo tisa et-shem-YHWH eloheicha lashav) translates to "You shall not carry the name of the Lord your God for nothingness" or "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God."

God's name must not be misused in "empty," "worthless" ways.  This commandment forbids using God’s name in a frivolous, disrespectful, or deceitful manner.

It Stands To Reason

In the Christian bible, Yeshua Hamashiach was "His Name" in the flesh. It stands to reason Yeshua would apply the concept of למען שמו (lema’an shemo) in powerful scriptures.

Jesus explicitly spoke about "using His name" in ways that align with the concept of "למען שמו" (lema’an shemo), "for His name's sake"

Here are the verses where Jesus explicitly spoke about "using His name":

John 14:13-14 --"Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."

John 15:16 -- "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give it to you."
.
John 16:23-24 -- "In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, He will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

Mark 16:17-18 -- "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."

These verses highlight the authority, power, and purpose associated with using Jesus’ name.

Power In the Name

These verses emphasize the power, authority, and salvation found in the name of Jesus:

Acts 4:12 -- "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Jesus’ name is the only source of salvation.

Philippians 2:9-11 -- "Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Romans 10:13 -- "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Colossians 3:17 -- "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.".

The Great Commission

With the advent of the "Great Commission," Jesus sent his disciples to spread the "Good News" of the risen savior and to proclaim his name! You could say that Jesus sent them out "למען שמו" (lema’an shemo) "for His name's sake."

Matthew 28:19 -- "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

ISN'T IT INTERESTING

Jews avoid saying or acknowledging the name of Jesus.  We give theological and cultural reasons. The name Yeshu (used in the Talmud) is often interpreted as a derogatory acronym meaning "May his name and memory be obliterated."

For a Jew, hearing a Christian end a prayer "in the name of Jesus" is a very uncomfortable feeling, at best.

As a Jew, getting my mind around the Christian concept of "the name" was extremely difficult. Ironically, there is a clue in Judaism's central prayer, the Shema.

Deuteronomy 6:4  Hear O Israel, YHVH our God is ONE (Echad).

Study "echad" to see what I mean.
CONCLUSION

By not saying His name, the irony is that Jews are implicitly saying there is power in the name and the effect of calling on His name. Thus, aligning His name with the scriptures.

MESSIANIC OBSERVATIONS

There seems to be a broad sense than we are living in unique times. I'm not a messenger of end-times -- These are just observations.

The bible is specific about the sorts of things that will be happening in such times.  Decide for yourself: -- Do you see parallels to ALL of these things:

✔️ "Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.”

✔️ Widespread natural disasters, storms, famine and pestilence...Evidently the bible forsaw climate change.

✔️ Wars and rumors of wars..."Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. Evidently the bible forsaw that too.

✔️ Tremendous deception!

✔️ People will "call good evil and evil good."

✔️ "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers."

✔️ “increasing of lawlessness.”

✔️ The "love for God would grow cold" in most people.

✔️ People will be "lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.”

Many of these signs could apply to various periods in history. However, what makes our current era unique is the collective, unprecedented scale and intensity of these phenomena, particularly in light of technological advancements and global interconnectedness.

Unique aspects of our current era:

  1. Unprecedented knowledge explosion: The internet and digital technologies have led to an exponential increase in accessible information, fulfilling the prophecy of knowledge becoming abundant.

  2. Global awareness: Modern communication allows us to witness events worldwide in real-time, making us more aware of disasters, conflicts, and societal changes on a global scale.

  3. Climate change impact: The effects of climate change are more pronounced and widely recognized than ever before, leading to increased frequency and severity of natural disasters.

  4. Technological moral dilemmas: Advanced technologies like AI and genetic engineering present new ethical challenges, potentially exacerbating the "calling good evil and evil good" phenomenon.

  5. Digital narcissism: Social media and online platforms have amplified self-promotion and individualism, aligning with the prophecy of men being "lovers of their own selves".

  6. Global interconnectedness: The world is more interconnected than ever, making it possible for events to have far-reaching consequences and for information (both true and false) to spread rapidly.

  7. Potential for global-scale events: Modern technology and weapons systems create the possibility for events that could affect the entire world simultaneously, echoing the scale of the biblical Flood.

These factors combined create a unique context in which biblical prophecies seem to be converging and intensifying in ways not seen before, potentially signaling the approach of the "time of the end" mentioned in Daniel chapter 12.

You might say this could be any period in history. I would tend to agree. What makes it different today? I'll tell you...

ISRAEL IS KEY!

Israel plays a central role in the bible. While "end-times" is worldwide, Israel is central in end-times prophecy, serving as a witness to God’s sovereignty and fulfilling ancient biblical promises.  These things need to happen  regarding Israel before the Messiah comes/returns:

The modern state of Israel, established in 1948, is seen as a fulfillment of prophecies about the regathering of the Jewish people to their land. (Ezekiel 36:24).

In addition to the restoration of Israel as a nation in 1948 and the reclamation of Jerusalem in 1967, there are several key developments in Israel that align with biblical prophecy and signal the unfolding of end-times events:

  • Spiritual Awakening: A growing remnant of Jews in Israel are recognizing Jesus as their Messiah, fulfilling prophecies of spiritual revival (Isaiah 10:20, Romans 11:5).
  • Agricultural Revival: The deserts of Israel are blooming, and the nation is exporting fruit, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy of the land flourishing (Isaiah 27:6).
  • Political and Religious Tensions: Increased hostility toward Israel and ongoing conflicts in the region align with prophecies of nations rising against Israel (Zechariah 12:2-3).
  • Israel will face attacks from surrounding nations, but God will supernaturally defend and deliver them (Ezekiel 38, Zechariah 12).

These developments, alongside Israel’s continued existence and growth, underscore its pivotal role in biblical prophecy and the approaching fulfillment of end-times events.

You can draw you own conclusions concerning events described above. But there are two future events that will be unmistakable!

The first event is the ritual killing of the Red Heifer. This is a significant element in biblical prophecy, particularly in Jewish and Christian eschatology which hasn't happened in over 2000 years. It is only recently that such specimens have even been located.

The Red Heifer ritual is detailed in Numbers 19bn̈. A red heifer without defect or blemish was sacrificed outside the camp, and its ashes were used to purify those who had come into contact with a dead body.  This requirement applies to much of Israel's people and land today!

Killing of the 10th red heifer, as would be the case, is linked to the Messiah’s arrival and the rebuilding of the Third Temple from both a Jewish and Christian perspective.  Hamas's  attack of Israel on October 7th 2023 was motivated by Muslims' fears that Israel was going to slaughter the red heifer!

Recent reports of red heifers being brought to Israel have sparked interest, as they are seen as a potential step toward fulfilling end-times prophecies, including the construction of the Third Temple

An essential component -- The Third Temple.

Discussions and preparations for a Third Temple in Jerusalem are significant, as its construction is a key end-times event.

Once the temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem during the "Tribulation," a period of time referred to as "Jacob’s Troubles" in the Book of Daniel, Jews both suffer greatly and have role to play. 144,000 Jews are foretold to serve as evangelists during the end-times that unfold once the 3rd Temple is built.

What's to come after the temple is built in the final days, is not unlike the time of the plagues against Pharaoh in Egypt. It is described in the Book of Revelation, but I'll warn you. You may not want know.  On the other hand, fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

Conclusion

Once the third Temple is built, it is already very late.

"They took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be."

A FARM TRACTOR FROM HEAVEN

Jonah's Bobcat

Two years ago I got a call from my mother’s aid while I was at our community Purim Carnival with my grandchildren. Mom didn't wake up. This year, while I was at Temple during Purim to hear the Megillah Esther read, I was thinking about it being my Dad's birthday. His March 14th birthday fell on the 14th of Adar this year. I never noticed this happening before.

It would have been Dad's 94th birthday, but he passed four months earlier.

Below, at the end of this post, I pasted a message I recieved while I was in temple. I needed to hear the Megillah and that message about my father.

One of the most poignant moments after the loss of a parent, is on their first birthday after they've passed away. One feels the need to call their parent to wish them a happy birthday and to hear their voice.

This birthday I didn't have Dad to call, so I called my brother-in-law. He answered the phone just enough like my father used to when he was a younger man, that it made me speechless.

Receiving my new tractor

Not only is today Dad's birthday and Purim, it is also the day a new Commercial Farm Tractor is being delivered to my Tree of Life Farm. The tractor was made possible with money from Dad's estate.

The delivery date, Dad's birthday turned out to be a coincidence. The dealer and I have gone back & forth for months on this transaction and there was no attempt to have it delivered on his birthday, let alone Purim. The connection hadn't even occurred to me.

It's a "Bobcat" make tractor (Model CT2025). You can see the "Tiger" logo on my cap and the tractor grill in the photo above.

When I was child, my Dad would call himself "Ox Ritter" around the house. He said he had super strength.  An Ox is associated with the letter Aleph, the first Hebrew letter.

When I was a very young child, Dad called me either "Bobby" or "Tiger." I preferred Tiger.

I know it is a silly reason for choosing a tractor maker, but once I preferred the Bobcat machine I selected, the logo was the clincher. I'm sure the marketing folks at Bobcat didn't put that into their strategy plans!

After the tractor arrived, I remembered another significant moment in my life concerning my tractor and my father...

When Mary and I bought our first single family home 40 years ago, my dad bought me a Wheelhorse lawn tractor for my birthday and to help us get started in our first house. At the time, that tractor felt like an incredible gift of love. It meant so much to me then.

The Bobcat farm tractor that arrived on Dad's birthday is an incredible gift to help the Tree of Life farm. As far as I am concerned, my Bobcat is a "tractor from heaven."

Dad had a long life, which went fast like all our lives. Happy birthday on the other side "Ox" Ritter from your "Tiger!"

To conclude this blog post, I want to share a message I recieved today from a friend of Dad's in Florida

March 14, 2025 and Adar 14th  5785:

Hi Jonah. Craig Wertkin and Shelley Cohen here. As I readied myself to call your dad on his 94th birthday, I google him for news and sadly found that he passed. Shelley and I had a special love for your dad. He loved when we picked him up and took him to Kee Grill. He was a very special man.

Our sincere condolences to you and the entire Ritter family. May the memories of this wonderful, smart, and generous man be with you and his grandchildren and great grandchildren forever. Please circulate this to other family members. 🙏

PE - 80

Exodus 70.1 -- The Lord said to Moses, “See how important I have made you? In speaking to Pharaoh, you will be like God, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

In Hebrew, the letter "Pe" (פ) is the 17th letter in the Hebrew Alpha-beyt. Both the ancient and modern form of the letter is shaped like a mouth. Pe's gematria value is 80. "Pe" (פ) and the number 80 signify the power of speech and communication.

Prophets are called to be a mouthpiece of God. For example in Jonah 2.2, after the great fish spewed Jonah out of it's belly, the Lord comes to Jonah a second time and says:

"Arise, go to Nineveh the great city, and proclaim upon it the proclamation that I speak to you."

Before Jonah was the prophet Moses. Moses was 80 years old when Adonai came to him to free the Children of Israel from Pharoah in Egypt.

Exodus 6:10-12 -- Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go tell Pharaoh that he must let the Israelites leave his land.” But Moses answered, “Lord, the Israelites refuse to listen to me. So surely Pharaoh will also refuse to listen. I am a very bad speaker.”

Exodus 6:28-29 -- He said, “I am the Lord. Tell the king of Egypt everything I tell you.” But Moses, standing there before the Lord, said, “You know me. I’m a very bad speaker. How will I make the king listen to me?”

The mouth is not just a physical organ but a spiritual instrument that can bless, curse, teach, and connect humanity to the divine.

Speech has tremendous power. A king rules with his words. An ordinary person also has great power in his or her mouth. With words of praise we can raise a person to great heights, and with a bit of gossip we can destroy a person’s reputation.

The Hebrew letter Pey (פ) has a distinct shape that resembles a mouth, which is fitting since the word "mouth" in Hebrew is "Peh."

The letter can appear in three forms: The standard Pey (פ) used in the beginning or middle of a word is written with a dot (dagesh) in the center is pronounced as a "p" sound. When the dot is absent, it is pronounced as an "f" sound. When Pey is used at the end of a word, the final form of the letter has a descending "tail" that extends below the baseline and looks like (ף). This form is called Pey Sofit.

Here are some notable Bible verses that emphasize the significance of the mouth:

Proverbs 18:21 -- The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Psalm 141:3 -- Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Proverbs 21:23 -- Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.

The power of the mouth to speak is no less meaningful in the Christian bible, as evidenced by these versus I selected:

Romans 10:9 -- If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

James 3:5-6 -- The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body.

Matthew 12:36-37 -- But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Ephesians 4:29 -- Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

All of the bible verses above highlight the power of speech and the importance of guarding one's words. What comes out of the mouth can have spiritual impact.

80 "If We Are Strong"

In Exodus 7:7, "Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh." This marks the beginning of Moses' leadership in freeing the Israelites from Egypt, symbolizing maturity and readiness for a divine mission.

Psalm 90:10 tells us that, "The length of our days is seventy years—or eighty if we are strong—yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away."

This verse reflects on human lifespan, with eighty (80), the age of Moses (Pe) representing strength and endurance.

The Power of the Tongue

One's speech can either bring healing, encouragement, and positive change, or inflict harm, pain, and destruction depending on the words chosen; essentially, the idea that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" as stated in the Bible (Proverbs 18:21).

Rabbi Yeshua told us in Matthew 15:11 (NIV) --"What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”

What "comes out of our mouth" can stay in another person's mind and heart for the rest of their lifetime.  What we say can lift or lower a person, a group or even a nation. It is important to pray that the Lord guides us in our speech, and even to provide us the message.

Speak to the Rock

Psalm 19:14 from the Hebrew above says -- May the sayings of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable before You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

In Numbers 20:8 Adonia instructs Moses to, "Take the staff and assemble the congregation, you and your brother Aaron, and speak to the rock in their presence so that it will give forth its water. You shall bring forth water for them from the rock and give the congregation and their livestock to drink."

God Almighty told Moses to speak to the Rock

The Lord tells us in Numbers 20:10-12 -- Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels: shall we bring water for you out of this rock?” And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock. And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

If you ask me, Moses begging Hashem to be allowed to enter the Land God Promised with his chosen people is one of the saddest scenes in the Torah:

Deuteronomy 3:23-26 -- And I pleaded with the Lord at that time, saying, ‘O Lord God, you have only begun to show your servant your greatness and your mighty hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as yours? Please let me go over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, that good hill country and Lebanon.
But the Lord was angry with me because of you and would not listen to me. And the Lord said to me, ‘Enough from you; do not speak to me of this matter again.

As I see it, Hashem was about to reveal something extremely important for Moses and the Children of Israel to see and hear if Moses had opened up his mouth (Peh) and spoke to the Rock rather than raising his hand and striking the Rock, twice no less. I believe one day, the Lord will reveal to us what Israel missed.

As I said at the beginning of this post, Pe" (פ) is the 17th letter in the Hebrew Alpha-beyt. What is significant about that?  Perhaps this detail from the Gospel of Matthew will offer an insight. The 17th "triangle number" is 153. That is the number of fish in Simon Peter's "miraculous catch.

In Luke chapter 10, Yeshua and others on the road from Jericho to Jerusalem. A 17 mile road! “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. Read "The Parable of the Good Samaritan."

Psalm 80:17-19 -- Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

Conclusion
There are times in our life when we need to speak. If we have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear, the Lord will give us the words to come out of our mouth.

Psalm 19: 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Epilogue:

Below is a famous story regarding the letter Pey and the Great Lubavitch Rebbe from the last century.

In Israel, a fifteen-year-old girl woke up one morning to discover that she could suddenly no longer speak. After three days of shock and denial, her parents brought her to an elite doctor in Tel Aviv. The physician examined her. Then he told the mother and father, “It is impossible that this girl has ever spoken. She has no vocal chords.” The parents protested that their daughter had been speaking for 15 years! Nevertheless, the doctor proclaimed he could do nothing to help her.

After many months and numerous visits to all the top specialists, the family’s last hope was a doctor in England. He too concluded that the girl’s case was hopeless. By chance, the family happened to encounter a Chabad chassid on their journey. The chassid advised them to see the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The father was reluctant, but the mother insisted. She started making phone calls and arranged their trip to the United States. The family went into the Rebbe’s office and the mother immediately started to sob uncontrollably. After several minutes she got hold of herself and told the Rebbe their story. The Rebbe asked the parents to leave the room so that he could speak to the girl alone. He said to her, “I know you are an intelligent girl and will appreciate what I have to say. In your previous gilgul (incarnation), you did many things that were not very good. What they were isn’t important. What is important is to know that it was decreed in Heaven that your punishment was to come down to this world and be born mute. However, because you were blessed with great and holy forebears, for their merits you were given 15 years of speech. From now on, you will not be able to speak … unless you agree to use your mouth to talk to other children about keeping Shabbat. If you agree to do this, you will once again speak. Do you agree?”
The girl nodded. The Rebbe pressed her for a commitment. “So, we have a deal?” The girl opened her mouth and out came the word “yes.” To this day, that girl—now a grown woman—gathers children together every Shabbat to speak to them about the sanctity of the day.1

THE AMAZING HEXAGON

A hexagon is special due to its unique geometric properties and its frequent occurrence in nature. Here are some key aspects:

Efficient Space Utilization: Hexagons are highly efficient in packing space, leaving no wasted gaps. This makes them ideal for structures like honeycombs, where bees minimize the use of wax while maximizing storage space. Hexagons are also seen in the design of space technology, such as the hexagonal mirrors of the James Webb Space Telescope, which are optimized for precision and compactness.

Structural Strength: The hexagon's six sides and angles provide significant structural stability, making it one of the strongest shapes for construction and design.

Mathematical Properties: A regular hexagon has six equal sides and angles, with internal angles summing to 720 degrees. It can be divided into six equilateral triangles, and it has six lines of symmetry. See what happens when the triangles are on the outside! You get an iconic symbol of Israel.

The Star of David has seven internal compartments (six triangles and one hexagon).

Natural Occurrence

Hexagons appear in various natural phenomena, such as basalt columns, snowflakes. When lava cools and crystallizes, it often forms hexagonal columns.

Hexagons play a significant role in the structure and function of cells in the human body, often reflecting nature’s efficiency and precision. Here are some key examples:

  • Red Blood Cells The membrane skeleton of red blood cells is composed of a network of roughly 33,000 protein hexagons, resembling a microscopic geodesic dome. This hexagonal lattice provides the cell with its remarkable flexibility, enabling it to deform and squeeze through narrow capillaries while maintaining structural integrity.
  • Brain Grid Cells: In the brain, grid cells form hexagonal patterns that help in spatial navigation and memory. These hexagonal structures are fundamental to the brain’s ability to map and navigate environments.

Symbolic Significance: In "sacred geometry," hexagons represent harmony and balance, often seen in ancient symbols and structures. This geometric shape has intrigued spiritual seekers, not to mention artists and scientists, for centuries.

In Judaism, the hexagon is associated with the Star of David. The Magan (Shield) of David is a symbol of strength!

It is created from the overlapping and interlocking of two triangles which form a six sided Hexagon.

The six points linked to the six directions (north, south, east, west, up, down) symbolizes the omnipresence and protection of Hashem.

Kabbalah's sacred Tree of Life, associated to Jacob’s Ladder, has a hexagon nature. It is constructed on the 22 Hebrew letters. At the center is Tiferet, Glory! At the top is Keter, crown. Above the Keter is the Ein Sof, the "unending" or "Infinite. "

All these properties make hexagons a fundamental shape in both natural and human-made designs.

The hexagon is a shape that pre-dates man. Surely it is a design of Elohim.  The Strength of Israel is symbolized by a shape that is in the blood and in the brain.

Once you see the hexagon in the (Shield) of David, you will never see it the same again

THE ULTIMATE IRONY

During the Holocaust, the Nazis required Jews to wear a "Jude Star" on the outside of their clothes. It was Hitler's way to identify, humiliate and "other" the Jews. Little did Hitler realize the great irony of this act intended for evil.

As terrible as the Holocaust was, the fact is that today the Nazi party and government are ruined, but Jews and Israel lives. Six million Jews were murdered, and yet Jews are stronger today than ever in history.

What was the "strength" that kept the Jews alive? I say it is the strength of the One who created the Hexagon. It is the Shield of David. The God of Israel.

The Nazis meant the "Jude Star" for evil. They meant to destroy Jewish DNA and literally to wipe Jewish ✡️ blood off the face of the earth. "But God."

Ironically, the "Jude Star" is a museum piece and the Shield of David flies on the flag of Israel and is worn around the necks of Jews all over the world.

Genesis 50:20 -- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
